Miguel A. Ortiz – Miguel graduated from UCLA with honors in Political Science and therafter earned his law degree from Loyola Law School. He has also served in the U.S. armed forces. Since he was admitted to the Bar in California, Miguel has been engaged in various aspects of civil practice, with a focus in litigation. More recently, he has become involved in  bankruptcy practice, representing the interest of both creditors and debtors. He has been involved in civil jury trials with significant verdicts. Miguel speaks fluent Sapnish and has interest in international business law and arbitration. He has studied certain aspects of international and domestic laws of Costa Rica as part of an exchange program.
